The 4-star non-smoking Hotel Reykjavik Saga is situated just 5 minutes' stroll from the Pint-sized Icelandic Punk Offbeat Museum and provides shuttle service, along with cars for rent. Ideally located in the Reykjavik 101 district a short way from the Einar Jónsson Museum, this Reykjavik hotel has 130 rooms.

Location

The Icelandic Fish and Chips restaurant is only 650 metres away, and culture-oriented attractions such as the unique Icelandic Phallological Museum lie only 1.3 km from the hotel. The Saga lies in the very heart of Reykjavik, a stone's throw from a lake.

The Reykjavik Maritime Museum is also merely 1.4 km away.

The accommodation is fairly close to Hafnarhus bus station.

Rooms

The rooms at the Saga Reykjavik are allergy-friendly and fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels as well as tea and coffee making equipment. The boutique interior features soundproof windows, along with a writing table. Providing a walk-in shower and a separate toilet, the bathrooms are also appointed with hairdryers and bath sheets.

Eat & Drink

Breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant. Froeken Reykjavik Kitchen restaurant looks out onto the city and specialises in local cuisine. Guests can relax at the on-site lounge bar. It also features a lounge for guests' comfort. You can try Scandinavian cuisine in a seafood restaurant which is located very close by.

Leisure & Business

The Saga Reykjavik has a sauna and spa therapy to help diversify your leisure time. Keeping fit at this Reykjavik hotel is convenient thanks to a fitness club that offers fitness classes.

“The location beside the lake provides a quiet setting, but some may find the modern design prioritizes form over function, as evidenced by reports of tricky light controls and non-functional amenities. While the staff is friendly and helpful, a stay may require patience with operational details. I think guests looking for seamless convenience might consider these factors.”
