Located nearly a 25-minute stroll from Klambratun Park, the comfortable 4-star Hotel Reykjavik Saga offers Wi-Fi in public areas and a car park. An à la carte restaurant is available in the non-smoking hotel that boasts a convenient location a short way from the Einar Jónsson Museum.

Location

This Reykjavik hotel is nestled in the Reykjavik 101 district, fairly close to the seafood restaurant Messinn. The Saga is only 50 metres from MR bus stop and only 500 metres from the Reykjavik Art Museum Hafnarhus.

The accommodation also lies a stone's throw from a lake, and the futuristic revolving glass-domed fine Perlan Dining Restaurant is approximately a 30-minute stroll away. The nearby entertainment attractions of Reykjavik include the famous Volcano House, which is just 0.6 km away.

For those travelling from afar, Reykjavik airport is 10 minutes' drive away.

Rooms

The rooms at the Saga Reykjavik are allergy-friendly and fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels as well as tea and coffee making facilities. There are spacious bedrooms and private bathrooms with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet provided. Offering amenities such as hairdryers and bath sheets, the bathrooms also feature a walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The rooms also look over the city.

Eat & Drink

Breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant. Guests can enjoy local cuisine at the on-site restaurant. Drinks are available at the lounge bar. It also features a lounge for guests' comfort.

Leisure & Business

Along with a sauna and spa therapy, the Saga Reykjavik offers whale watching to elevate your holiday experience. Keeping fit at the hotel is convenient thanks to a fitness club that offers fitness classes.

“The location beside the lake provides a quiet setting, but some may find the modern design prioritizes form over function, as evidenced by reports of tricky light controls and non-functional amenities. While the staff is friendly and helpful, a stay may require patience with operational details. I think guests looking for seamless convenience might consider these factors.”
